Quarl responds:

hey, thanks. You leave some of the best reviews. I'll remember to hit you up some time soon. It's late here now though, so I can't do it now, i'll be in bed in minutes.

Most the fills are entirely midi that I built, but give this track a second listen with this in mind: natural drum kit 14, and club dance beat 55.

Problem with garage band is that those samples can be really tempting sometimes. I try not to let them control the track and I feel like I've done a pretty good job at that, but in hind sight, I really don't like using samples. I've made a promise with myself not to use samples in reason. It's a lot easier when the sample library isn't right in front of you :P

your garage band skill are freaking sick dude and this peice is mental but you know what im gonna say

club dance beat 61

otherwise very good use of no so good software

btw those bubbly basses were KICKASS

Quarl responds:

lol. I can't help it. That's such a great sample. One of the few samples I really like actually. I've used it over and over again, it never gets old to me. I hate myself for it, but it pays off with an echo and reverb tossed on, chopped up here and there to pan from left to right with a phaser thrown on top for good measure.

You have a really good ear. I love you :3

cool

ints near enogh perfect nice work though the string leads need bringing back a 16th because they sound slightly off but apart from that the only problem is theres not to much straying from the original which could have made this awesome you know - some sort of huge saw lead this is very good but it seems a bit low for your voice
also insted of having the bass go down a semitone on the second bar of each 4 i would have had it go up a tone but thats just opinion

oh yeah when you have a cold it helps you voice

good work

BAPS!!!!!!!!!!!

xjordanx responds:

Not if your breathing is difficultish. It doesn't help that!
Yeah i just stuck to the standard chords rather than alternating and i may bring out a version which will have the riff made into a soloey thing.

BAPPAGE to you.

i wasnt sure how youd pull this off or which section youd use but you did well good work

thanks for checkin it out

sigh

those are garageband samples

this is not your work

glubgluby responds:

...
u can use garage band samples
and i am capable of making my own work ty very much
I do that quite a lot
i just decided to take a break and mess around and it sounded pretty good

not bad

i know how hard it is to get that sound out of garage band having used it for ages nicely done

-1 star for repetitiveness
-1 star for the garage band sample (club dance beat )

Quarl responds:

Uhh, dude, there is no sample. There are like, 60 beats labeled club dance beat in garage band, and if you really think I used one of them you would have to be more specific if you wanted to prove anything :P

In your defense however, I did take the bass drum from the club dance beat 1 and effected it some. The snare is from the pop drum kit but EQ'd a bit, and the... OHHHHHHH....lol. I didn't think I used any samples but I see where you got it from. It's that snare side stick sounding rhythm. Forgot about that one. Damn, now I feel all hypocritical. Club dance beat 22. The bass was turned down on that one so that only the stick rhythm came through, regardless, it plays a pretty important element in the track so I'll give you that :P

cool

good space to this peice
awesome melody and chord progression
the drums could have been a bit louder but it still works
perfect use of echos

Kr1z responds:

Well those drums were a lil louder in the first version, but everyone said it was too loud :S xD
More quiet drums are well fitting though in this genre xD
Thx for the review ^^
